Curriculum Policy
From the point of view of providing education that values the cultivation of the “ability to respond to issues faced by Japan and the world, such as global environmental issues and natural disasters, from a standpoint consistent with the local region and the world,” the curriculum policy of this department is regulated as follows.
- Utilizing knowledge in natural and social science in order to develop the ability to analyze various phenomena from the local scale to the global scale, and identify fundamental issues.
- The ability to work towards solving global environmental issues, natural disaster prevention, and solving scientific/technical and social issues, as a high level expert, is cultivated.
- The ability to respond to issues faced by Japan and the world, and continue learning techniques needed to solve issues related to the global environment and natural disasters, and scientific/technical and social issues is cultivated.
