Master’s Program Instruction
The Graduate School of Science and Technology (Master’s course) Global Environmental Studies Course has been renamed the “Graduate School of Science and Technology Global Environmental and Disaster Studies Course” for students enrolled in April 2020. Instead, Hirosaki University has established the Graduate School of Sustainable Community Studies (Master’s Course) in April 2020. In the master’s program, the faculty members of the Department of Global Environment and Disaster Prevention are divided into two groups: those in charge of the “Graduate School of Science and Technology, Course of Global Environment and Disaster Prevention” and those in charge of the “Graduate School of Sustainable Community Studies.”
Doctoral Program Instruction
The doctoral program of the Graduate School of Science and Technology is divided into the following departments, and faculty members in charge of the Department of Global Environment and Disaster Prevention Sciences who are qualified to supervise the doctoral program provide research guidance to the students in charge in the Department of Safety Science and Technology, Environmental and Safety Sciences.
