In elementary school, I learnt about simple computation of real number, simple facts about geometry, and methods for some simple problems, etc.
In junior high shcool, equations was introduced, more knowledge about geometry was provided, such as computation of the volume of a cone, etc. Basic knowledge about functional analysis was also given.
In high school, more complex knowledge about algebra, geometry, and functional analysis was studied in order to pass the entrance examination of University.

During July 7-9, 1997, I took the university entrance examination. The subjects of examination includes mathematics, Chinese, English, chemistry and physics. I have to pass the mathematics exam.

I think mathematics of high education in Japan involves more in computer, while in China, it mainly concerns analysis.

I feel in China it needs to become more practical. For example, more attension should be paid in computation.

Yes. Mathematical programming can solve real problems in reality. Moreover, the training in analysis is also useful to study new knowledge.

I hope to study under Prof. Chen's supervision in Hirosaki University. So far, I enjoy studying mathematics in Hirosaki University. In fact, I like studying here more and more.
