雑誌会について(川上研所属生へ)
雑誌会では、「自分の研究に関係する内容」か、「自分が興味のある内容」の最近の英文の学術論文を自分で選んで読んで、その内容をまとめてスライド(パワーポイント
etc.)を使って発表します。前後期各1回担当が回って来ます。発表日の前日迄に発表内容をまとめたプリント(又はPDF等電子ファイル)を作成して研究室(伊東研・川上研・関口研)の全員に配布して下さい。プリントには発表する論文の出典(著者名、雑誌名、巻数、ページ、発表年)を必ず記載して下さい。論文を選ぶ学術雑誌としては、質の高い論文が多いアメリカ化学会のJournal of the American Chemical Society(通称JACSジャックス)やThe Journal of Organic Chemistry(通称JOCジェーオーシー)を勧めます。その他の学術雑誌としては、Science Directで検索可能なElsevier(エルゼビア)の学術雑誌があります。Elsevierの学術雑誌は、弘前大学が契約しているので、学内からだと論文のPDFをダウンロードすることが可能です。私達の研究分野に関係するElsevierの学術雑誌は、Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology A: Chemistry、Dyes and Pigments、Journal of Luminescence、Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical、Tetrahedron等があります。論文を選ぶ際の注意点ですが、Introduction(序論)、Experimental(実験)、Results and Discussion(結果と考察)、Conclusion(結論)で構成されているフルペーパーの論文を選んで下さい。論文には、ノートやレター、ショートコミュニケーションといった短いものもありますが、特に学部時代は英文の論文を読む訓練も目的の一つとして含まれるので、フルペーパーの論文を選んで下さい。但し、レターやショートコミュニケーションの論文には、速報性のある重要な内容のものが多いため、例外も認めます。尚,学部学生に対しては、雑誌会は「科学技術英語Ⅰ・Ⅱ」の一部となります。
